Studies show that nature can be beneficial for mental health. It also reduces fatigue and stress and helps with depression and anxiety. What better setting to practice free Breath-Body-Mind health and wellness techniques in, then right here at the Nicandri Nature Center!!!
Join Margaret Dunn, LCSWR, Certified Level 2 Body-Breath-Mind Teacher in a relaxed, quiet, small group setting with the panorama of nature behind you! Margaret will lead you in exploring relaxation techniques using rounds of gentle movements and simple breathing exercises, using imagery from nature and some music or chimes.
Wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers.
You may want to bring a water bottle and a small blanket. Yoga mats will be available for use. (Exercises can also be done sitting in a chair).
These free sessions will be held for six consecutive Thursdays beginning January 11 through February 15, 2018. Sessions will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
